From a symbol of youth and purity to the color of gender and challenging conventional wisdom, pink has come a long way. It has been sung at various times in their collections by Elsa Schiaparelli (who made the “shocking” fuchsia color part of her brand’s DNA), Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Alessandro Michele, and others. Marilyn Monroe loved pink, Jackie Kennedy used it for important meetings, Andy Warhol used it for her work, and Paris Hilton literally monopolized the color in the 2000s.
By 2022, pink is no longer seen as a symbol of the age of glamor and is not associated with stupidity and naivety. On the contrary, this color is an expression that has been used frequently on the catwalks and red carpets in recent years. All this was confirmed by the guests of the Grammy Awards, where almost every second person chose different shades of pink: from fuchsia to pale salmon.
We’ve seen Kim Kardashian, Kris Kardashian, and Rihanna in pink total appearances over the past two weeks.

The latter, apparently, has a particular weakness for this color. In late January, Riri announced her pregnancy in a vintage pink Chanel puffer jacket from her 1996 collection, appearing a few weeks ago in a fuchsia-knit mini dress with ostrich feathers from Saint Laurent.

And yesterday, the bad girl opted for a knit Bottega Veneta top, Vetements jeans, and an old John Galliano scarf from the 1997 collection.

All of the above, as is the case with Karl Lagerfeld’s legendary phrase “Think pink. But “don’t wear” is no longer relevant. Therefore, we think it’s time to pay attention to pink, as its further popularity will only gain momentum. We have collected 12 things that we dream about ourselves.
