Last fall we saw Daniel Craig as James Bond for the last time. The producers remained silent for a long time, not admitting who they were planning to take in the next part of the Bond movie. For some time there were even rumors that a girl would play 007, but the creators quickly denied this fact.
Previously, Idris Elba was considered for the role of “new” James Bond, but declined to audition. Therefore, the producers are now actively looking for a competitor for the iconic role of 007. They even laid out the mandatory requirements for an actor who can play James Bond.

Ross King told IGN about this. Producers are considering actors in their 30s. Therefore, they had to exclude the candidacy of 42-year-old Sam Heughan. The growth of the future James Bond is also important – at least 178 centimeters (preferably higher, of course).
Although the requirements were not fully adhered to, experts today include Henry Cavill (39 years old, 185 cm), Rege-Jean Page (34 years, 178 cm), Tom Hardy (44 years, 175 cm), James Norton (37 years, 185 cm) and Chivitel Ejiofor (45 years old, 178 cm).
