Alexander Rodnyansky ceased to be the owner of the film studio, which released the films “Leviathan” and “Dylda”.
Alexander Rodnyansky
Alexander Rodnyansky has left the co-founders of the Russian film company Non-Stop Production, which broadcasts Leviathan, Chernobyl, Dylda and other films, RBC reports.
The producer handed over 99.8% of the company to Alexander Chukanov, the studio’s general manager, who was appointed a week before the signing of the deal. The remaining 0.2% still belongs to the Cypriot company Snapfly Ltd and Luxembourg Excalibur Development SA.
Rodnyansky noted that the special military operation in Ukraine, about which he repeatedly spoke, was not the main reason for this decision, but “accelerated” it and made it impossible for the producer to continue working in Russia.
Earlier, in May, it became known that Rodnyansky plans to make a series about Russian President Vladimir Putin, based on the book “The entire Kremlin army” by the former editor-in-chief of the Dozhd TV channel * Mikhail Zygar. for the scenario.
Later, in July, Rodnyansky had a confrontation with the BadComedian blogger, whom the producer called “cowardly scumbag” because of a video about propaganda in Russian and Ukrainian cinema.
* “Rain” is recognized as a foreign media agent in the Russian Federation.
