Why is washing your hair upside down recommended by experts?

When we wash our hair, we tend, without even realizing it, to clean some areas of the scalp first and to be a little less careful on other parts. But how do you make sure this place is perfectly clean? An expert has revealed his secret.

With swimming in the sea, swimming and sweating, we all tend wash your hair more regularly in the summer as long as they can get fat very quickly. The problem is that washing them more often, we further unbalance the hydrolipidic barrier of the scalp which inevitably leads to a phenomenon we hate: the overproduction of sebum. In short, it’s a bit like the snake biting its own tail.

There are no 10,000 solutions to rebalance this area … The most effective remains to space out the washes. But how ? The solution is quite simple: wash them as thoroughly as possible. The most effective way to do this? Tilt your head forward (as far as possible and reasonable of course) after having previously moistened the hair e massage the scalp. In this way the most often forgotten area: the back of the skull is properly cleaned and the contours of the face (ears, neck) are not neglected.

A theory confirmed by hairdresser and makeup artist Aaron Barry, interviewed by She Dutch:

“The back of the head is usually the area that people neglect. They tend to focus on the top, but most of our hair is on the back of the head. “

A well-washed head = enhanced volume

If sebum secretion is a phenomenon completely normal emitted by the body in order to do so continue to adequately protect the skin from daily aggressionscan lead to a poorly washed scalp slowing hair growth.

The cause of the problem? Not really the sebum itself, but rather obstruction of the hair follicles due to the accumulation of dead cells, product residues and sweat. To combat this problem, the solution is to first wash your hair well and, once a week, apply a scrub to the scalp to free it from residues that can clutter it.

Not a fan of exfoliation? It could happen ! Fortunately, there is another solution for you: the stimulating brush for the silicone scalp. The latter will remove dead cells and impurities while increasing blood microcirculation, all allowing you to wash your hair optimally.

Is this the people’s request?
