Special: Memoirs of NBA Hall of Fame member Chris Weber by the grace of gode is being adapted into a television series by Picturestart before the book’s release on November 15. The project is currently sold on networks and publishers.
The adaptation focuses on Weber’s youth and travels as part of the famous “Fab Five” at the University of Michigan. From amateur athletics to national championships, the series looks at the triumphs and challenges of life and career in pursuit of basketball excellence, and explores many hot topics on equity between schools and players.

Faigy, Sam Kim Falvi, Jessica Switch and Roy Reeves-Darby will co-produce the project. Peter Gilbert will also be executive producer and previously partnered with Webber to start Webber-Gilbert Productions. Russell Redo of Cashmere Originals will serve as non-executive producer for the writing.
Weber is played by Laveta Willis.
