The Ukrainian Film Academy program provides 48 $15,000 screenplay development grants along with private sessions with industry experts to two-person creative teams of screenwriters and producers. Submissions will be reviewed by a team of leading Ukrainian directors and producers, including Natalia Stribuk (Producer), Olesya Lukyanenko (Creative Producer), and Serhiy Zlenko (Eurimages Ukraine Country Representative).
Meanwhile, House of Europe will award 100 €1,000 ($1,011) scholarships to creators of all levels. The team partnered with Netflix to strengthen film education, post-production and screening.
These two programs, among other things, provide Ukrainian filmmakers with financial support and access to knowledge and experience at all stages of their careers. Eligible candidates can apply through Europe House and Ukrainian Film Academy Sites from 28 July.
