French brand Casablanca has always been famous for skillfully displaying the spirit of the Wild West – the last spring-summer fashion show at Paris Fashion Week is a barn of real horses, as evidenced by the decorations. Because who, if not the ruthless Nicolas Cage, could be the brand’s new campaign ambassador? But Casablanca designer Sharaf Tadjer’s main inspiration was the opposite of the actor’s American heritage, which he displayed with Hollywood glamor.

Photographs of the fall-winter ad campaign, shot by photographer Hugo Comte, intertwine with Hollywood glamor and pieces from artist Eric Fischl’s early conceptual paintings—true hedonism and flesh satire. “We revisited Hollywood heritage with our own life stories, blending luxury and romance to create timeless looks that transcend fashion with a universal pop culture lexicon,” says the photographer.

Lightweight shirts with abstract prints, white trousers with contrast blue stripes and tight-fitting jackets – Nicolas Cage made the top ten with models Elton Mason and Anok Yai to convey the mood of the campaign. I just want to plan a movie marathon based on Tarantino movies.
