Disney Makes Fairy Godmothers Disappear – They’re Now ‘Apprentices to Fairy Godmothers’

Walt Disney Co. changes its long-term apparel program to make it more inclusive with a wave of a magic wand, or more likely a corporate stylus.

Disney’s old “Fairy Mothers in Education” program required employees to dress children as princesses and knights in boutiques at US theme parks.

From now on, these retro fashion helpers will be called “Fairy God’s Apprentices”. A Disney spokesperson said the change was made to make the show more inclusive. He told CNN on Saturday. The new name will be used for employees working at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique stores that specialize in transforming children into iconic Disney characters with makeup, hairstyles and costumes.

Why change? That’s why men can work in a boutique. The spokesperson said that according to the previous rule, only women can receive the title of “Fairy Mothers in Education”.

“With a wave of magic wand and a few practical tricks, our Fairy Godmother apprentices will pamper and delight your child until they look amazing like a storybook. Kids can choose a hairstyle, then add makeup, nail polish and accessories, even a Disney costume. Walt Disney According to the World website.
