Seventeen candidates are vying for the eight vacant seats on the WGA West Board of Directors, including five incumbents. Voting will start on 21 August and will end on 20 September.
The nominees are Angelina Burnett, Robert H. Wolff, Rich Talarico, Justin Halpern, Timothy Dowling, Ryan Walls, Van Robichaud, David Schulner, Danny Toll, John Rogers, Leah Folta, Raphael Bob-Waksberg and current protagonists Eric Haywood, Ashley Tympanum. Deric A. Hughes, Travis Donnelly and E. Nicholas Mariani.
The Guild will host a virtual Candidate Night forum on August 31, where members can ask candidates questions. Guild members will receive voting materials, including links to candidates, non-candidates, and rebuttals on the same day.
The voting period ends on 20 September at 12:00. Members can vote online or request a paper ballot to vote by post. According to the union, voting is not allowed.
