Ysaora Thibus won bronze in 2017 and silver in 2018. It is therefore a great consecration for her to win a gold medal. The 30-year-old French foil fencer scored the victory against the Italian Arianna Errigo (number 4 in the world in the discipline), 15 touches against 10 in the final.
It is therefore an immense pride for Ysaora Thibus, Guadeloupe and France.
