John Pollak and Wilmer Valderrama Launch Allied Management Group

specialFormer NBCUniversal executive John Pollack and actor, producer, and activist Wilmer Valderrama formed the Allied Management Group, which focuses on partnerships, collaborations, and the representation of new and existing Latino voices in traditional and digital media. Pollack and Valderrama are co-founders and co-owners of Los Angeles-based AMG.

After two decades as head of global production and distribution in the entertainment industry, Pollak oversees day-to-day operations.

Clients include Dhana Media, a company led by Marie Urdaneta and Liliana Moiano, the producers behind the Amazon script. Maradona: sweet dream and University Jenny Rivera’s storyTuti Loori, CNN host Calling Mexico with Eva Longoria Y I am the word writer Maria Renee Prudencio.

Valderrama, the last actor to continue directing; Last year, Kenan Thompson founded Artists for Artists and formed a joint venture with McKeon/Myones Entertainment.

“Latin talent has traditionally been relegated to the Latin American ranks of big Hollywood companies, but thanks to an exciting shift in the industry fueled by the rise of global streaming platforms, it is now an important part of the broader US market. . Pollack told Deadline:
