One of the last fashion shows within the scope of Couture Fashion Week in Paris was the Fendi Couture fashion show. And brand designer Kim Jones decided to hold the event in an all-white hall – everything so as not to distract the guests from the clothes.

The main idea of the fashion designer is to divide the narrative between Rome, Kyoto and Paris. Nude dresses, abstract print suits and botanical patterns made of autumn leaves: Kim Jones keeps her style in line with simple and practical yet iconic silhouettes. And in all this gentle extravaganza, one interesting detail can be traced that deserves to be called a future trend – accessories that repeat and continue the prints on clothes, or complement the latter in color.

It’s a bit strange that the idea wasn’t allowed to be widely used before – the only exceptions were the cruise books of the current or past seasons by Bottega Veneta, Chloe, Coperni and Proenza Schoulder. Kim Jones went broke: In the Fall 2022 Couture collection, we see bags that continue the color or print of the clothes everywhere. And this technique looks very organic and even fresh – the times when an accessory should be a mandatory accent in an image are already quite bored. As the saying goes, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. It is enough to come up with a simple idea and implement it instantly. Well done, Kim.
