Flowers blooming on dresses and birds proudly perched on headdresses – Paris Couture Fashion Week started magically and the Shiaparelli catwalk turned into a true Garden of Eden. Yep, in just a few seasons, Daniel Roseberry has made Shiaparelli great again, and frankly, he’s not planning to stop.
The creative director of the brand switched from anatomy to nature in the new collection. And not only that. Elsa Schiaparelli was inspired by the plant world and as a child she decided to plant flower seeds in her mouth, nose and ears. Elsa wrote in her autobiography “My Shocking Life”, “If flowers grew on her face, she would be the only flower in the world”.
The prank failed and the doctors had to save the girl from drowning. But thoughts of unity with nature did not disappear – references occasionally appeared on Schiaparelli’s dresses and headdresses.

In the new collection, Roseberry worked with the brand’s rich heritage and created unique works of art (it would be difficult to call the images from the fashion show just clothes). Thus appeared on the podium strange hats, vine-like earrings, and dresses embroidered with flowers.

But not just by nature – the Schiaparelli collection has become another tribute to the female body. The designer focused on the bare chest and the extremely low waist. And it looks like Roseberry’s masterpieces will soon captivate the red carpets of the most important events and awards.

After the show, Beck Gvishiani (author of Style Not Com) approached Daniel Roseberry and asked the question on everyone’s mind: “What’s next?” To which the revivalist Schiaparelli replied: “More risk.”
