The Day N Vegas music festival will not take place this year. Organizer Goldenvoice said today that the third annual event at the Las Vegas festival, which was scheduled to take place over Labor Day weekend, has been canceled “due to a combination of logistics, scheduling and production issues.”
The 2022 festival will feature Travis Scott, SZA, J. Cole, Playboi Carti, Jhene Aiko, and Oscar winner HER, whose Astroworld performance became tragic last year.
“We regret to announce that a combination of logistics, scheduling and production issues has forced us to cancel Day N Vegas for 2022,” Goldenvoice said on its website. “The refund process will begin immediately and the money will appear in your account within the next 2-4 weeks.”
Billed as Goldenvoice’s “premier hip-hop and R&B event”, the three-day festival is scheduled for September 2-4. The organizer also said that the group “continues to be culturally influential beyond the rap, hip-hop and R&B landscapes.”
Day N Vegas made headlines last year when Scott pulled out of a headline concert following the Astroworld tragedy, in which nine people died during his performance. Post Malone will make headlines in N Day Vegas 2021. This year’s event would also be one of several festival dates for Scott, who was chosen as the closing for this year’s night at Coachella.
