Images from the set of the movie “Barbie” continue to emerge, where the world’s most famous doll is Margot Robbie and her boyfriend Ken is Ryan Gosling. They were filming one of the scenes yesterday where the couple was skating on the California beach. The outfits go well with what Barbie doll makers loved to dress up dolls for in the ’90s: pink bike shorts, neon knee pads, plastic earrings, and abstract prints in all colors of the rainbow.

Details of the plot of the film are still unknown, but the growing public interest in it was riveted – in large part due to the cartoon, according to the network, the image of Ryan Gosling: the first promotional frame with the actor in the role of Ken caused many memes.

Alongside Gosling and Robbie, Will Ferrell, Emma McKay, America Ferrera and Michael Cera are also featured on the tape. Despite the obvious frivolity of the project, it’s working on a serious team: The film is directed by Greta Gerwig, an Oscar and Golden Globe nominee for Lady Bird and Little Women. Her husband, Noah Baumbach, author of the acclaimed Marriage Story, which was also nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe, worked with her on the script. The premiere of “Barbie” is scheduled for July 20, 2023, it is not yet clear whether Russian viewers will be able to see the tape.
