For many, the stomach is a problem area, even regardless of physique. Fitness bloggers and trainers claim that “vacuum” helps flatten the stomach – an exercise to work muscles using breathing exercises. Fitness blogger and mother of two Lyudmila Katunina has been doing this exercise for several years with an ideal body and abs that are cooler than Emily Ratajkowski’s. We learned from him how to do the exercise correctly so that the result does not take long.
How to do it right?
The best time to “vacuum” is in the morning on an empty stomach. Here you will find visual instructions for the exercise.
1. Take a starting position (standing straight).
2. Take a deep breath through your nose.
3. Exhale sharply through your mouth, lean your body slightly forward and hold your breath. At the same time as you exhale, pull your stomach strongly, as if you want to press your core against your lower back.
4. Hold this position for 15 seconds and repeat the exercise 4-10 times.
For the first time, 15 seconds is enough, but in the future try to hold your breath for as long as possible.
Results
You will see them in a month, but subject to daily training. In addition to a flat and taut stomach, you will establish good posture and strengthen the transverse muscles (hello abs!). A slim waist is another nice bonus.
