The movie tells the story of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fighting Godslayer Gorr (Christian Bale). He turns to Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Queen of the New Asgard, and his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who has gained strength and proves worthy of wielding the magical hammer Mjolnir.

Natalie Portman previously talked about filming Thor: Love and Thunder in an interview with Variety. The actor admitted that the muscular figure of his character was the result of hard training, and not computer graphics, as many viewers decided. Portman said she asked him to “make it as big as possible” to get the picture taken, and that he worked with a trainer for over 10 months.
