Peacock has announced their new show The end is Nye will premiere on August 25th. The show will feature a famous science educator Bill Nye teaching about the most epic global disasters both natural and unnatural. She will explain how they can happen and then how we can survive, mitigate and even prevent them. The show wants to be confident and offer a way out of these truly terrible events. On the show, Nye says:
Our world is a very scary place right now, yet full of opportunities to make life better for all of us, for everyone on Earth. Speaking of Earth, the big idea behind The End Is Nye is that for the first time in our planet’s history, we humans can control our own destiny. We can see the potential of these overwhelming disasters and have the means to avoid them. With science we can change the world.
I’m not alone in saying that the days at school we got to watch Bill Nye were some of my favorites and it’s going to be really fun to see him in this adult series.
