Focus Features has released another trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’Crazy looking, dark sci-fi comedy Bugonia.
The film returns the director with Emma Stoneand even the stars Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros HalkiasAND Alicia Silverstone.
The film is an English-language remake of the South Korean film Save the green planet!and follows “two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major corporation, convinced that an alien is intent on destroying planet Earth.”
This film looks like it will take audiences on a wild and strange ride. It’s the kind of cinematic experience you can always expect from Lanthimos.
Bugonia was written by Will Tracy and produced by Ari aster. It’s scheduled for a special limited engagement on October 24th, ahead of a wide expansion on October 31st.
