NATPE Moving Flagship Event from Miami to the Bahamas from 2023

National Association of TV Program Managers (NATPE) Moves its flagship January event from its long-standing Miami venue 180 miles across the water to a new base in Nassau in the Bahamas.

The plan, known to many international executives for months, brings NATPE to the Bahamas Mars Resort and Conference Center from next year’s event, which will be held January 17-19. This is the first time that NATPE has not taken place on US soil.

The Miami Fontainebleau has been the home of NATPE since 2011, although the previous two editions took place online due to the Covid pandemic. It was previously held in Las Vegas and further back in cities such as New Orleans, Los Angeles, New York, Houston and San Francisco.

Next year’s theme is “Content, Networking and Monetization” and will have a schedule that includes selected thought leader sessions and networking meetings and is expected to attract executives from content production, distribution, marketing, advertising, finance and data. .

“The response from our community is not only enthusiastic, it also reflects a clear path to on-site sales meetings with their global teams,” said Bommel.

NATPE Budapest is currently selling in Europe, with distributors such as Cineflix Rights, Banijay Rights and DCD Media accounts. It will last until Thursday (July 30).
