Paul Jamat joined the cast 30 coins, a Spanish horror and mystery series that premiered on HBO Max in 2020 and resumed its second season in February. Production of eight episodes of the second season is underway in Spain, Italy, the United States, France and the United Kingdom, with a release date scheduled for 2023 for HBO Max worldwide and HBO USA.
Saluting Alex de la Iglesia, directed and written by Jorge Guericaechevaria, the series is about Father Vergara, an exorcist, boxer and ex-con who was exiled from the church in a remote town in Spain. He is linked to a series of mysterious paranormal events in the city, and with Paco, the naive mayor of the city, and Elena, a restless veterinarian, find themselves embroiled in a global conspiracy: to control 30 silver coins paid in battle.
