The London publishing world marked the end of the era with the launch of the latest print edition of Time Out magazine.
Since leaving its Chelsea King Road office 54 years ago, the magazine has been the leading publication for directories, film and restaurant reviews and everything every Londoner worth his salt needs to know about their capital. It was released in 2012 in a stripped down version and became free for readers.
In 2020 it changed to “time” for a while, reflecting the fact that its readers could not socialize or go to work due to the block.
To celebrate the latest issue, four artists have created a custom cover. In this latest issue, Caroline McGinn, Global Editor-in-Chief, said, “For 54 years it has been a privilege and a pleasure to serve you in the press. May our love affair last a long time “.
“Thanks to the experienced and joyful Mavericks who created this magic: there is no better team in business.
“Thank you Londoners for being with us for half a century.”
The title will now be presented in digital format only.
