Rowan Atkinson returned to the screens as the lead in the recently released Netflix movie Man vs Bee.
The film, released today on the streaming platform, is a near-silent comedy that sees the actor chased by a mischievous bee.
Atkinson is best known for his role as Mr Bean, but announced in 2011 that he intended to retire from that role, telling the BBC: “I don’t want him to get particularly old.”
The comedian is now 67, but getting old hasn’t changed his love life and Atkinson currently has a girlfriend who is 26 years younger than him.
His relationship with his girlfriend is not only controversial because of the age difference, but also because he left his partner, comedian James Acaster, to be with him.
Speaking about how the actor robbed his girlfriend, James Acaster said he was a “fucking saint” for keeping it a secret for so long.
He also revealed that he is constantly plagued with break-up calls due to Rowan’s enormous fame.
She said, “Until you stay with Mr. Bean, you don’t realize how many times he shows up.
“There is a shop two blocks from my house that sells masks of her face.
“There’s nowhere I’ll go without him being there.”
Unfortunately for James, it looks like he will once again remember the breakup when Atkinson returns to acting.

“I found out a year after we broke up. I opened the paper and there was a full-page story. No one else in the history of time has stayed with Mr Bean. “
James explained how Louise broke up after starting the show with Rowan Atkinson in 2013.
The couple had been together for two years and lived together at the time, but they separated in the same year.
It wasn’t until six years later that James revealed why he quit, saying, ‘I’m a fucking saint for keeping it in my back pocket for so long.
“My job is to say funny things and the funniest thing that has ever happened to someone has happened to me and I put it on the back burner out of respect.”
