Justin Bieber postpones the remaining US tour dates due to facial paralysis

Justin Bieber, who was recently diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome and the facial paralysis it causes, has postponed the remaining dates of his North American justice tour, originally scheduled for June and July.

“In the wake of Justin’s continued recovery, the remaining US tours scheduled for June and early July will be postponed,” the singer said in a message posted on the tour’s Instagram page. Justin continues to receive the best medical care, is well-informed about his recovery, and hopes to return on the road and take fans overseas by the end of this summer.

Details of the postponed dates in the US will be announced soon, according to the statement. The overseas leg of the World Tour begins on July 31 in Luca, Italy, and will last until March 25, 2023.

The latest postponement to the United States follows Bieber’s June 10 announcement that his early June concerts in Washington, DC, Toronto and New York City’s Madison Square Garden are expected to be postponed due to his diagnosis. “For those who are frustrated with the cancellation of my next show, obviously physically I can’t do it,” Justin Bieber said in an Instagram video post. “This side of my face is completely paralyzed.”

The recently postponed shows, originally scheduled for late June and July, included stops in Wisconsin, California, and Arizona.
