Netflix has released the first trailer for the Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde, starring Ana de Armas.
The film is based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates, which tells the story of actress Norma Jean Baker, known worldwide as Marilyn Monroe. The movie takes place in the 1950s and 1960s.
The project was directed and written by Andrew Dominic. Also in the movie are Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Julianne Nicholson, Caspar Phillipson, Toby Huss, Sarah Paxton and others.
The biopic will premiere at the Venice Film Festival this summer and will be released on Netflix on September 23.
