Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins died. The group announced it on Twitter on Friday night, but did not provide details on the circumstances.

At the time of his death, the group was traveling to South America. Hawkins was reportedly found dead in a hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia, where he allegedly played at the Foo Fighters Festival. The cause of death is still unknown.
The Foo Fighters have announced that after the tragedy they will not show up at a stereo picnic festival in the capital.
As well as playing drums on all Foo Fighters albums since 1999 nothing to looseHe also contributed vocals and other instruments. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year with the Foo Fighters.
His wife survived and had several children.
