Tinder’s famous fraudulent was detained in Georgia

Simon Levaev, who was famous thanks to Netflix’s SCAMİR from Tinder ”documentary, was again at the center of the scandal. This time – behind bars. Israeli citizen, whose real name is Shimon Hay, was detained at Batumi Airport by Interpol order. The first was the first person to inform the Jerusalem Post.

The details are kept confidential. Even Levaev’s lawyers don’t know exactly what he’s accused of. “This morning, I talked to him after the detention, but we do not understand the reason so far. He traveled all over the world,” he said in a comment to Walla. However, the Georgian Interior Ministry confirmed that we are talking about an international sought -after list.

Shimon Hayat was recognized by the scandal fraud plan and attracted great amounts from women through Tinder with the help of the scandal. He represented the heir of Levaevs of the Diamond Empire, convinced his victims’ viability and then asked him to receive money because of the “threat of life” and other emergencies. The total damage caused by Levaev is estimated to be $ 10 million.

Previously, in December 2019, Levaev was sentenced to fraud in Israel for fraud, stealing and bifting. He was sentenced to 15 months of imprisonment, but was released after five. After that, in November 2024, 414 thousand Sharia (about 10.2 million rubles) and the Levaev family, including the case of Irene Train, made new claims.

After the release of the Netflix film, despite the worldwide fame, Khayat continued to live an active life – traveled, organized secular exits and even tried to establish a career in the entertainment industry. But it seems that the past surpassed him again.
