The wives and lovers of the English soccer team may have gone to Netflix. The streamer is believed to be in the early stages of talks with All3Media-owned Optomen TV about the reality series that will be filmed during the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
According to The Sun, which first broke the news, Optomen has approached a number of English football stars, often referred to in the British press as “WAGS” (wives and girlfriends), to appear on the show.
The series will follow the women during their time in Qatar, England, to the FIFA World Cup in November and December 2022, where they will film their daily lives.
