Instagram* announced the release of a new app called Edits. The online platform isn’t available for download yet, but you can pre-order it from the App Store for iOS. This feature will appear on Android later. Estimated release date is March 13.

The announcement of the program’s launch came on the same day CupCut was blocked in the United States. On the Internet, Edits are called the future replacement of the broken editor. The alleged reason is that the service belongs to ByteDance, the company that owns TikTok. The Chinese conglomerate is under close scrutiny by US authorities due to national security concerns.
