Friends star Matthew Perry tragically passed away a year ago, but his friends continue to get surprises. One of them went to his colleague Lisa Kudrow.
The actress revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show that she recently discovered a note the late Matthew Perry left for her in the cookie jar he gave her after the show wrapped filming in January 2004.
“Matthew gave this to me at the end of our last episode. Recently I found a note he left for me in this jar. I haven’t opened it or looked inside in all these years. But yes, he did. There was a note there and I completely forgot about it…Timing is everything,” said Lisa. The actor decided to keep the content of the message to himself and did not mention it in the studio.
October 28 marks one year since the death of Matthew Perry. The actor died in the bathroom of his home at the age of 54. So far, discussions about the tragedy have not subsided. The investigation continues to find those responsible for the artist’s departure. Forensic examination showed the presence in the star’s blood of a high concentration of a drug intended for anesthesia, which led to death in an overdose.
