Tim Burton directed a successful sequel to “Beetlejuice,” but he’s not ready to reboot each of his projects. The director talked about which movies he doesn’t plan on remaking.
At the Marrakesh International Film Festival, he was asked about remakes and sequels. Fans were most excited for the sequel to Edward Scissorhands. To the great regret of fans, Burton put an end to this storyline. “There are some movies I don’t want to make sequels to. This is something unique. I don’t want to make a sequel to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Some things are better left alone, and for me, this is one of them,” he told IndieWire.
We have previously written about whether the director is ready to collaborate with Johnny Depp. The celebrity took part in many of Burton’s projects. These include Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Dark Shadows, Corpse Bride and Alice in Wonderland.
