X-Men ’97’s third season was confirmed at New York Comic Con on Saturday, it was announced. Deadline writes that the second season will air in summer 2026.

The trailer shown at the Comic Con hall showed the return of the time-scattered evil mutant Apocalypse and the X-Men characters. Heroes like Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Jubilee, Nightcrawler and others must find their way back to the 1990s after getting lost in the past and future.
The first season premiered on Disney+ on March 20, 2024, and concluded on May 15 after airing 10 episodes. It continued the stories of the fan-favorite 1990s X-Men animated series, and its revival received positive reviews from critics and fans alike.
The new series begins right after the end of the X-Men animated series in 1997. Many ordinary people still hate and fear the X-Men, who have superpowers. And the team is having a hard time with the death of their beloved professor Charles Xavier.
By the way, it was previously known that the shooting of the movie “Avengers: Judgment Day” has been officially completed.
