Nowadays, you need to be even more careful when using a smartphone. Izvestia writes that scammers are finding new ways to deceive.
If in the near future people will write to you on WhatsApp* under the name of housing and communal services workers, we advise you to be careful. Recently, scammers are increasingly using this scheme. Thus, attackers install a remote access program on the device via messenger. After that, they have full control over the phone, including stealing money.
You should also be careful when using Telegram. Recently, scammers have increasingly started creating Telegram bots and impersonating official Wildberries accounts. Initially, they offer to spin the wheel of fortune in honor of the sale. Of course, you win a “gift”, but to receive it you need to log in to your personal account, after which your personal data is also at risk.
We have previously written about what kind of plans scammers are preparing for Black Friday. Read about it here.
