Guy Ritchie’s crime drama is in production. The untitled project will tell the story of the conflict between two criminal clans.
Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren will star in the series. At the center of the events are two warring families from London, whose influence spreads to every corner of the world. Hardy will play Harry Da Souza, a professional peacemaker on behalf of the Harrigan family, while Brosnan will play Conrad Harrigan, the head of a successful London-based Irish crime family with whom Harry works. Mirren will play Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife and the matriarch of the Harrigan family.
It became known in October that Hardy was cast in the title role. The series was initially developed as a spinoff of Ray Donovan, but was eventually spun off into a standalone project. Tom Hardy had previously worked with Guy Ritchie on the set of the 2008 movie RocknRolla.
