Yura Borisov is literally living his best life right now (and we’re so happy for him). The actor started appearing at Hollywood ceremonies after filming Sean Baker’s Anora, and according to some authoritative tabloids, he may be nominated for an Oscar.
A photo of Borisov with actress Tilda Swinton (“The Chronicles of Narnia,” “Doctor Strange”) and director Pedro Almodóvar (“Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown,” “All About My Mother”) appeared online. The photo was taken at Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood awards. The ceremony recognizes the achievements of women in the industry, including fighting for women’s rights and advocating for themselves in relationships with men.
In between filming – the actor is currently filming the movie “Planet 9” with Irina Starshenbaum and receiving awards – Borisov still manages to find time to talk with journalists. The artist previously gave Snob a long interview about the filming of Anora, his friendship with Mark Eidelstein and meeting Angelina Jolie. Read here.
We also wrote that Yura Borisov was nominated for “Best Supporting Role” at the 2024 Gotham Awards. The award ceremony will take place on December 2. Overall, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
