The Simpsons series has been going on for decades and seems endless. But those working on it change and modify plans. This happened to the series’ “senior” Pamela Hayden.
The actor, who voiced Bart Simpson’s sidekick Milhouse in all 36 seasons of The Simpsons, is leaving the animated comedy after nearly 700 episodes. “It’s time to hang up the microphone, but how do I say goodbye to The Simpsons?…it’s not easy. It has been an honor and pleasure to work on such a humorous project and lend the voice to Milhouse, as well as Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Janey, Malibu Stacy and many more,” Hayden said, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. Hayden, Milhouse Van His final appearance as Houten will be this week in next Sunday’s episode.
The Simpsons creator Matt Groening publicly thanked the actor and said he would miss his colleague. Of course, the show can’t just get rid of the dozen characters voiced by Pamela Hayden. Therefore, the casting to replace him will be announced in the very near future.
