The musician’s representative, Arnold Robinson, said Quincy passed away on the evening of November 3 at his home in Bel Air, surrounded by his loved ones. “While this is a great loss for us, we celebrate his amazing life and know there will be no one else like him,” his family said in a statement to The Associated Press.

Throughout his career, Quincy Jones has recorded 27 studio albums, created 80 soundtracks, and received 27 Grammy awards. Quincy once said: “When you start trading music for money, God leaves the room.” Rest in peace legend.
