Comedian Andrei Beburishvili shared details of joint birth with his wife in the new program “Fathers”

A new “Fathers” program has been released on VK Video. Presenters – famous comedians Rasul Chabdarov, Alexey Shalnov and Valery Ravdin – together with invited guests discuss the topic of fatherhood and family. The guest of the first episode was popular comedian and young father Andrei Beburishvili. The theme of the series was “Fatherhood: Expectation and Reality.”

It turned out that Andrei Beburishvili was present at the birth of his wife and cut the umbilical cord. Despite his medical education, he could only do this for the second time: “We agreed that we would have a joint birth, but when he said ‘go out’, I would go at that moment. And this was even worse. Better from start to finish.”

Rasul Chabdarov commented on these words: “Joint birth is generally a misnomer. Not common. There is no such thing as “you give birth to half of yourself and I give birth to half of you”. She’s still giving birth. You’re just standing there.”

Beburishvili responded to his colleague’s irony: “Yes, you are just hysterical. Then they throw you out, you just hear screams and you sit there crying. I definitely think you should hold his hand and support him in every way possible. I don’t regret going at all. And Maria is happy and I am happy too; At the most important moment, I can hold your hand, caress you, kiss you, do anything. But of course there is no need to go there.”

By the way, Chabdarov also volunteered to go to joint childbirth, but regretted it: “I will never go again.” The comedian was also present during the caesarean section: “I felt really old. The birth lasted 12 hours. I had a plan: I go in, hold her hand, she gives birth, and I go out and celebrate the birth. I was stuck in the hospital for four days. As a result, there is a cesarean section. They pull the child out too, which is very scary. And it is absolutely lifeless.”

Rasul admits that he panicked when the child stopped breathing. But later she learned that during a C-section, children do not pass through the birth canal, so they do not wake up: “It was probably half a minute, maximum. But it felt like an eternity.”

The presenter also said that Karina Cross looks “young and old at the same time.” After giving birth, Resul made a separate fee to be with the child after resuscitation. A nurse, who was 50 but looked very young, helped him calm the baby: “He was incredibly young and old at the same time, like Karina Cross,” the comedian joked.
