Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger was in contact with Liam Payne on the day of his death. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, who worked with the singer in the Broadway musical, talked about his relationship with the late One Direction singer in an interview with Billboard magazine.
“I think there was something unsaid between them. I’d say he’s a mentor to One Direction’s Liam. “He was still writing to her when he died on Wednesday.”
Scherzinger, 46, learned the news of Payne’s tragic death shortly before going on stage, according to the musician: “He just heard that he had died. And the fact that he’s even in the show is extraordinary. I mean, she’s an amazing, amazing woman.”
Let us remind you that former One Direction vocalist Liam Payne passed away on October 16. His body was found near a hotel in Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires.
