Tim Burton, Hollywood’s leading dark storyteller, is going through a dark and disturbing period in his life. Advanced technologies disturb his peace.
The director is not very enthusiastic about artificial intelligence in filmmaking and life. Burton tries to stay away from them as much as possible and calls himself a technophobe.
“No matter how much I work with technology, I find that my soul and body resist it. I realized I was getting depressed. I get lost, I go down my own rabbit hole and escape from there,” the director tells Mirror.
Burton had a particularly difficult time when he discovered that an artificial intelligence system was using his art to create new works. The creator of Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice and Sleepy Hollow hopes that technology will never completely replace humans.
