Hip-hop icon Dr. Dre was accused of abuse by his therapist. Celebrity consultant Charles Sophie says he is afraid to leave the house without a bulletproof vest.
In a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week, Sophie alleged that she worked as a marriage counselor for the rapper and his wife in 2018. The psychotherapist acted as mediator until the couple divorced. But more than a year later, the rapper began writing to Sophie. According to him, the star sent his messages at night for almost a year. It contained threats of violence.
“No one should be subjected to such aggressive, torturous behavior. “Especially when the person who is subjected to these threats and unbearable harassment is a doctor who is working hard to cure his patient.”
The main evidence were copies of the messages in which the rapper threatened the doctor and referred to some information about him that he received from someone. In her complaint, Sophie alleges that the musician could carry out his threats and cause her physical harm or even death because he has been accused of violence in the past.
Dr. Dre did not remain silent and went on the attack. According to the publication, he also claims that it was Sophie who acted unprofessionally and accuses her of dereliction of duty and incredible incompetence, especially regarding the star’s children.
