The third part of the movie “How to Be a Princess” will be released on the big screen. Disney announced that Adele Lim will direct the new movie of the popular series.
“As a How to Be a Princess fan, I am incredibly excited to be working on the third film in the beloved franchise,” Lim, known for his work on Crazy Rich Asians, told Variety.
She added: “We look forward to celebrating the project’s core values of female power, joy and mentorship with audiences around the world.”
The script of the film will be Flora Greeson and the producer will be Debra Martin Chase. There is no word yet on whether Anne Hathaway will return to the role.
Let us also remind you that the movie “How to Be a Princess 3” has been in production since 2022. Hathaway made a rare comment about the continuation of the project last year. “We are doing well. There is nothing to announce yet, but we are moving forward,” the 41-year-old actor told V Magazine.
The first part of the project was released in 2001, and the second in 2004 and was called “The Princess Diaries 2: How to Become a Queen”. Both films were directed by Garry Marshall, who passed away in 2016.
