Reese Witherspoon, the Oscar-winning actress of Legally Blonde and Big Little Lies, decided to go in a new literary direction with her next book; The genre of the future work is suspense (a technique used to create a tense atmosphere in works – Note ed.). The star decided to team up with bestselling author Harlan Coben (“Don’t Let Go,” “The Boy from the Woods”).
The book doesn’t have a title yet, but it’s scheduled to be published next fall and is based on an idea Witherspoon came up with. This work will be the actor’s first book for adult readers; Before this, the author had only written books for children.
“To say I’m a fan of Harlan’s work is a huge understatement. The fact that he found my idea for this thriller intriguing enough to want to collaborate with me as a co-writer is a dream come true. Planning with Harlan how to excite the audience with mysterious characters and complex plots was already more fun than I can tell.
