Emma Watson remembered her Harry Potter co-star Maggie Smith, who passed away yesterday at the age of 89. The actor wrote touching words in Stories on the banned social network.

The Hermione actress posted a behind-the-scenes photo of herself and Maggie while apparently filming a scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
“When I was young, I had no idea about the legendary Maggie, the woman I was lucky enough to share space with. As I grew up, I didn’t realize that I was sharing the screen with the true embodiment of greatness. He was real, honest, funny and self-respecting. Maggie, there were a lot of guys among your teachers and I swear you carried yourself very well. Thank you for all your kindness. I will miss you,” Watson wrote.

As a reminder, Maggie Smith has won two Oscars, seven BAFTAs, three Golden Globes, three Emmys, a Tony Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She was named Dame Commander of the British Empire in 1989 and was inducted into the US Actors Hall of Fame in 1994.
