This year, the iconic sitcom Friends celebrates its 30th anniversary. And against the backdrop of an endless number of reboots of popular projects of the past, many fans are waiting for the return of the Central Perk team.
Star Courteney Cox, 60, who plays Monica Geller in the sitcom, said it was hard to imagine the series returning.
“It’s hard to try to change anything. All the ‘reboots’ have been compared to the original, but this was something special. ‘Every joke is on point, all the characters are great, and we have the best writers in the world,'” Courtney told People.
The creators of the Friends series previously stated that they constantly receive letters from fans who want to see a sequel to the sitcom in which the main characters will be the children of the original Friends series.
As for the legendary cast, it will not be possible to reunite it. Almost a year ago, Matthew Perry, who played the role of Chandler Bing, passed away. His close friend and colleague Mat LeBlanc lost his former form and became a recluse after Perry’s death, which terrified his colleagues.
