Childhood
Stepanov was born on September 23, 1988 in the family of a naval officer, so his entire childhood was spent traveling. From Moscow, where the future rapper was born, the family moved to Gadzhievo, a small town in the Arctic Circle, where the Northern Fleet base was located. A few years later, Alexander returned with his family to the capital.
Creative way
Stepanov became interested in rap in his youth, when he first heard Tupac Shakur’s tracks. He also wanted to share his experiences in music and poetry. Alexander began to write lyrics and at the age of 15 he recorded his first single with friends. Later, the guys formed the group Souljar’s Family, with whom the entire metropolitan crowd recognized the promising artist.
After school, Stepanov continued to study music. But at the request of his parents, he entered the contract faculty of the Institute of International Relations. Studying did not bring pleasure to Alexander. As a result, he decided to take the documents and plunge directly into creativity.
In 2006, ST was noticed by producer Sergei Parkhomenko and invited him to his KingRing label. Under the guidance of an experienced mentor, the rapper became a frequent guest of music parties, festivals and social events.
Having laid the foundations, Alexander decided to move on and entered into cooperation with the hip-hop agency Phlatline, which lasted about four years. During this time, Stepanov released his first albums: “Face Face” and “Na100ashchy”, and several videos were also shot. Together with the rapper, artists who were already famous at that time wanted to record their successes: Guf, Basta and L’One.
Stepanov also collaborated with other artists. So, the artist wrote the lyrics to Olga Buzova’s first hit “There is not enough half.” And in 2017–2018, he performed with the ST Leningrad group. Alexander has duets with Bianca, Larisa Dolina and Elena Temnikova. The artist’s visibility in the media also increased with his participation in the reality show “Stars in Africa”, which was broadcast on TNT, where he won the competition with Maria Pogrebnyak.
By the way, in 2019, the rapper was included in the Guinness Book of Records for the longest solo online performance. ST gave a concert that lasted 24 hours. Later, the broadcast was watched by seven million people.
Age of wars
Battles also played an important role in ST’s life. There he met representatives of rap culture and found his first fans.
In 2008, Stepanov starred in the reality show “BiTVa for Respect” on MUZ-TV, where he competed with L`One and other artists for a place in the final. And in the end he won, fighting with Ant.
The rapper took part in Versus Battle in 2014, where he defeated veteran MC Harry Topor. However, two years later, he was defeated in a duel with Oxxxymiron*. However, this loss did not affect ST’s career in any way. It did not stop him from becoming a successful artist with a large fan base.
Assol provided great support to the rapper at the beginning of his career. They met when the rapper was rapidly conquering the star Olympus. Four months after meeting, the lovers began to live together, and a year later they got married. The couple has two daughters: Estelle and Elsa.
