A month after five people were charged in connection with the death of Matthew Perry, a documentary about the tragedy has been released, with its creators claiming to expose a notorious Hollywood crime ring.
The film was produced by TMZ studios. The creators say they investigated the roles of drug dealers, willing collaborators, unscrupulous doctors and unethical rehabilitation centers. They included doctors and staff from the Anti-Illegal Trafficking in Prohibited Substances Bureau as experts.
Matthew Perry died on October 28th last year. He was found dead in his own hot tub. It was later determined that he had been exposed to an acute form of anesthesia that he had obtained illegally from a third party. The actor is known not only for his role as Chandler Bing on the sitcom Friends, but also for his illicit substance abuse, which he struggled to combat in the final years of his life.
