Naomi Campbell slams Anna Wintour’s attack in public

A black cat ran between Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour. The supermodel could not stand the sarcasm of the famous editor and reacted to the attack like a real iron lady.

The supermodel won the title of “Fashion Icon”. She was supposed to receive the award from the editor-in-chief of Vogue. Despite the important event, Naomi was a little late and Anna went on stage without waiting for the catwalk star.

Wintour, 74, said: “I am a very punctual person, but I have the honour of dedicating this evening to someone who is often late.” She then praised Naomi, describing her as brave, brilliant and original, before presenting the award to the ceremony’s host, Harper’s Bazaar editor Samira Nasr.

At this point Naomi had already taken the stage. It was noted that her knee was injured and it was not easy for her to walk. When the star was given the floor, Campbell laughed: “Yes, Naomi is always late. But I believe in a higher power and I want to thank them for being here. Everything is as it should be. I didn’t decide to take the award from someone else’s hands, but I liked it better.”

Wintour then left the stage, with the audience collectively gasping in shock at Naomi’s comments, all of which were captured on video that has been viewed more than 100,000 times.

“No more Met Gala invites for Naomi,” one user wrote in the comments. “She’s been there 17 times already. I’m sure this is just a work event for her,” she laughed for a moment. “Naomi’s applause was epic. She never lets anyone argue but she seems to have the final say,” a third commented.
