Matthew Perry’s assistant and former girlfriend Katie Edwards is calling for a fuller investigation into Perry’s death, saying there is a motive that undermines all arguments from the investigation.

The truth is that Perry was terrified of needles, but according to researchers, he received 21 injections in the last week of his life alone.

“It’s strange to me… Matthew always told me he would never use needles. That’s why he didn’t even want to get a tattoo. He used illegal substances in front of me and I tried to stop him. To that Matt said you can only die by injecting. ‘He said he would never go near a syringe,’ Katie Edwards told The Mirror.

Katie worked as Matthew Perry’s assistant in 2011. She also dated the Friends star in 2006. Katie and Matthew were close until the star’s death.

We previously reported that Matthew Perry’s assistant has revealed exactly how the actor spent his final day. She claims she gave him the final injection of his life and tidied up the mess before calling emergency services when she found Perry dead.
