Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has begun work on a film adaptation of her debut novel, The Nineteen Steps. People are writing about it.
It seems that 20-year-old Millie Bobby Brown manages to do everything: she published her first novel last September, recently got married secretly, and now she decided to try herself as a producer and film her own book.
The film will be released by a well-known streaming service. Millie will produce alongside Jonathan Eyrich and Nick Reynolds. She will also star in the film adaptation. Four-time Oscar nominee Anthony McCarten will write the script.
The director’s name is being kept under wraps for now. The actor based his book on a story his grandmother told him about World War II.
